Why this book?
If you’re here to find the secret formula, I don’t have it.
If you’re hoping I’ll have a magic bullet that will solve all your sales woes overnight, sorry.
If you’re figuring this just another rah, rah, keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll all workout someday, wrong again.
This is a book that breaks all the rules. And it’s designed to teach you to break them, too, and achieve the kind of success you’re meant for.
I invite you to consider what you are doing everyday in your practices that fall under the heading of “industry standards” or “business norms.” Re-examine these norms. Shed light on them and don’t hold them to be true just because they’ve been around forever. In today’s market, you must reinvent yourself and your processes at least every two years. When was the last time you gave your personal processes a tune up?
I am not talking about changing your values. But I am talking about updating your belief system. What do you think about yourself, your business and your ability to succeed? Is it possible that your belief system is outdated? The world changes and you must reposition constantly. That doesn’t just apply to technical elements like marketing or technology. It applies to you, too.
It is not an easy thing to do. And today, we are all about the quick easy fix. Our brains are bombarded every day with messages promising a quick resolution to whatever ails us –loose weight, find love, get rich, all overnight with little or no effort on our part.
This culture of quick has trained us to expect something for nothing. You won’t get that kind of promise from me.
What will you get?
*A way to look at your life and your work that will highlight your strengths and unmask your weaknesses. It’s a system that will pick apart every aspect of what you do – from your work processes to your unconscious mind – and find the belief system you need to succeed.
*Tools to take what you already have around you and manage it into a success system. The answer is not in some new job, new territory or new product. Your success tools are all around you. You need to see them, pick them up and understand how to make them yours.
*Straight talk advice. There are no cheerleaders here. No mantras, no mind games, no tricks. I am a salesperson just like you. I know what it’s like. I know what this job can do to you and what you can do to this job. I have been in the trenches my entire professional life. I won’t tell you to try anything that I have not seen work with my own eyes.
Success is not about luck or accident. It’s about training your brain to make it happen. I’ve done it. I’ve done it for thousands of others in my training seminars. And I’m here to share it with you. I invite you consider the possibility that there is a better way than what you’ve tried so far, a way that will do more than help you make your numbers or beat the next guy. There is a way to train your brain to be a sales superstar. Put into your mind that this is possible, and take the first step.
